Wedding Style Series: Enchanted Garden
Welcome to the first post in my wedding style series! This is a new series of blog posts where I will be focusing on a wedding style or trend and giving you some tips and inspiration on achieving the look!
So without further ado let’s start with the first in the series; Enchanted Garden.
This is actually on of my favourite styles! There are the most beautiful images on pinterest for this wedding style!
Whatever your budget it is possible to create a gorgeous enchanted wedding look however one of the deciding factors on your look will be the destination & the weather of course! Living here in the UK means you can’t rely on the weather – even in the summer months! So if you have a venue with amazing outdoor which you are hoping to use as part of this gorgeous look just remember to also come up with an indoor backup plan!
You can absolutely make this concept work for an indoor wedding, just think about bringing the outside in and adding a lot of whimsical touches. The tables are one of the places which have greatest impact when it comes to wedding style so focus on them.

Lots of greenery works very well, mix with gorgeous candles as this adds the romance and mystery to the enchanted garden feel. If you have the budget by all means add florals but if not don’t worry – greenery works great! Consider using beautiful stone urns or vases for some of the plants – it really adds to the outdoor garden feel. You can also work larger trees with the beautiful hanging candles, these really give a wow factor.

A few other ideas if you are working this style for an indoor venue – think about the decor around the room as this will really help thread it all together. If you have a dessert table you can give it a woodland vibe with mossy decor for the table, some fairy light decor and some beautiful floral decor around the table. Consider purchasing or hiring some tree stumps to display your desserts. This again will create another stunning focal point in the room and bring the theme together nicely

Your cake, seating plan and other room decor can also be styled to bring in the enchanted garden theme. I have found a few beautiful inspiration photos for you!

Of course an enchanted wedding theme really comes into its element when it’s done outdoors! The tree’s, fairy lights, plants and not to mention the beautiful smells of all the gorgeous flowers surrounding you! If you are planning an outdoor wedding and want the enchanted garden feel remember the ceremony decor is key! The focal point is you and your partner right there at the end of the aisle so why not make it truly beautiful!! Florals or plants are a great idea!

An evening wedding with an aisle lined with fairy lights, petals and flowers will really complete the ceremony and have your guests feeling as though they are lost in a secret garden! Don’t be afraid to let your imagination flow. If you don’t have a big budget then i recommend this area being one of those where you can focus a good percentage of your style money.

Play around with your table styling, you won’t need as much if your reception is also outside because guests will already feel that magical enchanted garden vibe! Add floating candles to trees, fairy lights around the grounds, mossy table decor to your welcome table. The setting is everything for a wedding like this so once you have the perfect place you only need to build on it with the little decorative touches and it really will all fall into place and trust me it will be amazing!
